Volatility Index (VIX)

The VIX, also known as the CBOE Volatility Index, is a measure of market expectations for near-term volatility conveyed by S&P 500 stock index option prices. In green we have marked a potentially interesting zone.

Fear-and-Greed Index

The Fear and Greed Index is a market sentiment indicator that gauges investors’ emotions towards the stock market, measuring the balance between fear (indicating potential undervaluation) and greed (suggesting possible overvaluation). Fear (green) is a potentially interesting buying zone. Yellow is a neutral zone. In the greed zone (red), investors should consider of reducing their assets, especially overpriced stocks and work with stop-loss orders. When the market is in fear, wait until it found its bottom. Never try to catch a falling knife.
